Black Sesame Paste

Ah Chew Desserts has been around at Liang Seah Street for many years, but we have never tried it before. Our first visit to Ah Chew saw us having the Black Sesame Paste.

The Black Sesame Paste was first poured through a sieve before serving to the customers. Texture wise, we felt that the Black Sesame Paste was rather thin, not thick and dense enough. It was also slightly starchy, and less rich in black sesames. It was still not on par with the ones in Hong Kong.
