One of the most successful cupcake stores has got to be Twelve Cupcakes, with 12 outlets spanning the entire island.

We tried the Chocolate Salted Caramel and Chocolate Chocolate, both using a moist chocolate cupcake. The Chocolate Chocolate was touted to have chocolate cream cheese topping. Unfortunately, we could barely taste any cream cheese and had thought that it was a typical chocolate cream frosting. The Chocolate Salted Caramel cupcake was topped with butter cream and salted caramel, which proved rather mediocre. As for the moist chocolate cupcake, we weren’t exactly blown away by it. And with the price tags of $3 and $3.50 for the pretty petite cupcakes, we struggled to find a reason to return for more.
