Latte e Miele

with one comment

Tucked away at The Grandstand (formerly known as Turf City), is Latte e Miele, meaning milk and honey in Italian. Latte e Miele prides itself on its freshly made gelato, with 100% natural ingredients and no added preservatives.

Dark Chocolate and Cookies & Cream

Dark Chocolate and Cookies & Cream

We had the Dark Chocolate and Cookies & Cream in a grande cup ($7.50). We tried a few other flavours including Strawberry Cheesecake, Nutella, Salted Butter Caramel, Rum & Raisins, but felt that the Dark Chocolate and Cookies & Cream were the better ones. The Dark Chocolate exuded a deep, rich, bittersweet chocolate touch. The Cookies & Cream was more subtle in taste, the taste of cookies was very mild. Texture wise, the gelato was a tad too soft and melted too easily. At $7.50 for 2 scoops, we didn’t really feel that the ice cream was worth every penny.

  1. I loved the gelato there! And aren’t gelato’s suppose to be soft compared to normal ice cream?
