Ah Teng's Bakery

Ah Teng’s Bakery is Raffles Hotel’s flagship pastry and bakery cafe. Its setting is more towards an old-school coffee shop, with wooden chairs and marble tables.

At $4 per piece, the raisin scone was on the pricey side. The scone was too much like a bread, and lacked the unique taste and texture of scone. It was rather heavy and we could feel the mixture of scone and saliva clamping up our mouths. There was also a measly amount of raisins. No doubt the scone came rather big in size, but given its less than ideal quality, this scone was definitely not worth all $4.

  1. Hi,

Just wanted to tell you how much I love this food blog. The honesty level is perfect. Keep up the great work. I’m tired of being led by hype PR, or friends of restaurant owners back patting each other on blogs. I’ve been disappointed too often by some of the so called Foodie bloggers.
