Our first visit to SweetSpot many months back was a disappointment. This time round, we decided to give their Chocolate Paradigm a try.

Chocolate Paradigm ($9.50) is SweetSpot’s signature chocolate cake. The entire cake was encased in a layer of silky, smooth and rich chocolate fudge. The inner chocolate mousse was equally smooth and dense, with an additional creaminess. Within this mousse was a very minute layer of spongy centre sandwiched between lightly flavoured vanilla cream. All these sat on a chocolate flavoured butter tart, which added more texture and punch to the dessert. We felt this cake could get a little overwhelmingly chocolatey when consumed on your own.
