Yam Tart

Yam Tart

We tried the Yam Tart  from Swatow Seafood this time but was left a little disappointed. A puny amount of yam, which was of mediocre standard, laid atop a flaky Portuguese egg tart like crust. There was a strong buttery aroma, but on tasting, the Yam Tart left a very oily after taste. Other than being oily, the entire tart and yam combination was rather tasteless. We felt that the Yam Tart could do better when consumed warm. At $3.50 for 3 approximately 4 cm small tarts, it was on the pricey side.
