Caramel Chocolate Brownie

Caramel Chocolate Brownie

The Caramel Chocolate Brownie ($5.90) was a very dense slab of chewy chocolate with little composition of sponge and some walnuts pieces stubbed sparsely within. Topped with a layer of caramel doped with peanuts, the combination reminded us of a snicker bar. However, the taste was distinctly different from that. A very nice piece of creation, but we felt it would be more satisfying if peanut butter was added and the entire dessert heated before consumption.

The Blondie ($4.30) was not too bad either, though we preferred the brownie more. The blondie tasted more dense than what its spongy looking base had initally suggested. With the chocolate chips scattered atop, this dessert was on the sweeter side. However, we felt that the blondie could do without the marshmallow as they hardly add any value to the cake. Instead, we felt that the dessert could do better with additional texture infused into it, perhaps with the addition of crunchy biscuit crumbs or oats.
