Pine Garden

with one comment

Pine Garden looks like your typical neighbourhood bakery. It sells conventional assorted bread and cakes. But do not be blinded by its nondescript looks. Looks are deceiving, you’ll never know what the cakes are really like till you taste it!

Oreo Cheesecake

Oreo Cheesecake

We tried the Oreo Cheesecake and at $3.50, it was honestly a good steal! Texture wise, the cheesecake was sticky, moist and dense – absolutely fulfilling our requirements of a good cheesecake. Taste wise, it was rich and full of cheese as well as Oreo flavour. And one surprising thing was the crust! Unlike the typical digestive biscuit like crust, the base of the cheesecake was made entirely of Oreo! It was an almost 0.8 cm thick layer of Oreo. The Oreo layer was chewy, sticky and overwhelmed with Oreo! Pine Garden’s Oreo Cheesecake does not come in any unique or exquisite packaging. Looks wise, there was nothing fanciful. But believe it or not, this has got to be one of the best cheesecakes we’ve tried!
