Peters Nuss-Nougat

A casual stroll into the ThreeSixty Marketplace @ ION saw us emerging with some interesting buys! The classic metallic tin casing was a definite eye catcher and with the special offer of 2 boxes for $19.90, we left ThreeSixty Markertplace with 2 boxes of Peters chocolate. Peters is a leading German manufacturer of confectionery but its products are seldom seen in Singapore.

Marc de Champagne in white chocolate – First impression was that the chocolate squares looked pretty unique, with the pictures of grapes printed on it. Peters scored well in the packaging and looks department. But sadly the chocolate was lacking in champagne taste. A bite into the white chocolate revealed a purple centre, which tasted pretty much like blueberries. The taste was pretty artificial as well, a sore disappointment.

Nuss-Nougat in milk chocolate – We preferred the Nuss-Nougat more for its stronger nutty flavours. Similar to the Marc de Champagne, the milk chocolate squares were decorated with hazelnut designs. The milk chocolate was very creamy, with a mild nutty fragrance.
