Custard Bun

Back at 包今天 Bao Today @ Food Republic for their Custard Bun. We gave raving reviews for their black sesame buns, but sadly the standard of their custard buns was a stark contrast. The amount of custard was very little. The bun was overwhelmed with the taste of pandan, hence covering up the taste of the custard.

  1. so happened I had the very same bun at this dim sum place, didn’t know the green colour mean pandan, in contrast to your opinion, i thought the custard was quite alright, came with the right amount of yolkiness and taste. in general, we spent like $11+ for a hot drink and a decent dim sum spread.
