We stumbled upon Swirl Gelateria as we trekked along Bukit Timah Road. We tried their alcoholic flavours – Rum & Raisins and Irish Cream, but sadly the alcoholic taste in both flavours were noticeably absent. In the end, we settled for the Peanut Butter Swirl and Black Sesame.

Compared to the other flavours, the Peanut Butter Swirl was slightly richer in taste. Furthermore, you can also taste the tiny peanut grains in the ice cream, which was rather unique. The Black Sesame ice cream was rather inhomogeneous, there were regions which had chunks of very rich black sesame paste, with other regions being very bland, with a diluted icy texture. Overall, the ice cream was rather thin, not thick and chewy enough.
