Caffé Pralet

Caffé Pralet (pronounced as Pra-lay) was just a kilometre away from Centre Ps. We decided to drop by Caffé Pralet for a slice of their signature cake Pralet.

The Pralet was a simple, no frills cake. There was no elaborate decoration or presentation. The top layer was made up of chocolate fudge. Following that were alternating layers of soft sponge and curd-like chocolate, on a crunchy hazelnut base. At $4.50 a slice, it was quite cheap for a decent chocolate cake.

The next time you’re in the vicinity of Tiong Bahru Market and Food Centre, do drop by Centre Ps or Caffé Pralet if you are craving for some cakes.

  2. You should try the chocolate raspberry cake, it’s really heavenly, with the subtle tanginess of the raspberry flavour permeating every bite.
